Originally built in 1886, the Inn at Antietam was turned from a private home into a bed and breakfast in 1983. Miriam & William Cunningham are the third owners of the Inn and renovated extensively after they purchased the property in March 2016. The Inn at Antietam has 5 suites, each with a private en suite bathroom, and is both dog-friendly and family-friendly. The generous breakfasts are made from scratch by Miriam, with as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible and can be made to suit any dietary restrictions: fresh homemade bread and yogurt; pastries; french-pressed coffee; local eggs and bacon; and much more. Sit on the wrap-around porch and watch the world go by after a tour at Antietam Battlefield National Park! Ideally located next to the national cemetery, the Inn is also close to other national and state parks and recreational sites: C&O Canal, Harper’s Ferry, South Mountain, and the Appalachian Trail to name a few. Call or email to make a reservation.
